Bruce brings almost 40 years of experience to his work. His first work experience started as he grew up on a family farm. He gained further experience as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and managing a tire store.
Bruce and his family have lived in Arizona since 1987. They have raised their family in Mesa and have loved working and playing there. In his spare time he likes hunting and outdoor activities. Bruce and his wife have three married sons and 8 grandchildren.
For the last couple months, almost every weekend, he has a very vigorous schedule practicing his trick shots and stunts. Tryouts for the sixth member of Dude Perfect are Spring 2019. No doubt that he will succeed and become a big Hollywood star!
Teresa has been with Bruce Gardner, Co. for over 16 years. With a business degree from ASU, years of experience working in the insurance industry & superior customer service, attention to detail mindset, she is a vital employee to our company. So much so, that she is mistaken for Bruce’s wife. She doesn’t mind though, we are all use to bossing the big man around. She is a mother to two children and has been married for 17 years. Her family loves to travel and watch movies together.
With 15 years of storytelling at home, she is honing in on her true talent in life, for when she retires. Audiobook narrators working from home for Disney. With every conversation at work, she is practicing her voice range, volume, various accents and acting. We are all rooting for her success and can’t wait for her star in the upcoming Toy Story 15
Grant has worked with Bruce for over 20 years. Right out of High School, framing new build houses was the start of his wide-range experience in construction and management.
Both he and his wife are born and raised here in Arizona and have raised all 6 of their children here as well.
Every rainy day in the state, you won’t find Grant nearby. He finds pure joy spending those days in the Needles vicinity panning for gold. Just the rich soil & water, his 18” pan, sometimes a spoon and his favorite pet ferret, ‘lil nugget. They have great memories shaking it up, with no one to bother them for miles. In a good season, he averages 20 ounces of gold. He is adding to his collection, in hopes to make a solid gold grill for his teeth by the end of 2020
Michele just celebrated her 1 year anniversary with our BGCo team. She has achieved over 20 years of customer service, bookkeeping, payroll and much more experience. With every task given to her, and her extensive knowledge, she exemplifies great leadership, performance and outstanding customer skills. She says that her proudest accomplishment will always be a mother to three great humans.
Michele is someone who is always smiling and having fun. She was laughing so much; her bio pic was the best we could get of her J If there is any obstacle to overcome, she will always face it head-on, with a smile. She quotes the Elf movie when he says, “I like smiling, it’s my favorite”!
She is also known online by her alter ego, “Large Marge” within the Groundlings community. On the first Friday of every month, she flies out to perform to a sold out crowd in Buford, Wyoming (population 1). Don’t let the population fool ‘ya. We think she’s a real funny gal.
Tanna is a new addition to the office staff and is excited to be a part of BGCo. She has a bachelor’s degree from Utah State University and has worked as a bookkeeper and an audiology assistant in the past. Tanna is eager to put her skills to work and grow in her new position after spending 2 years at home with her adorable son. She loves spending time with her husband and son and hopes to be able to travel and experience the world with them. Tanna and her husband are most excited about the chance to play with elephants in Malaysia and swim with sharks in Hawaii. They hope to make all of these plans happen in the near future.
Tanna is truly, our sweetest employee. This is very fitting, because while she was attending college in Utah, she took a part-time job with a popular local candy maker. There she quickly fell in love with creating delicious treats by hand. What better way to bring joy to the world than by making & sharing sweet treats with others? She trained, and practiced in any spare time she had. Creating delicious chocolate covered caramels, delicately dipping fruit, and freshly roasting nuts to perfecting pecan rolls.Every now, and then, Tanna will share her handmade talents with her co-workers.
After completing school and coming back home to Arizona, she re-connected with her true love. After marriage, they have begun to start a sweet little family of their own. We believe that her talents have probably been mastered since creating a sweet, little treat of her own. No doubt that she creates delightful delicacies!
Marissa is the most recent addition to the BGCo Team. She was born in Australia, but has lived in Arizona for 23 years. She is the ultimate cheerleader in our office, and it’s no wonder because she had 8 years of competitive cheer. Her pom pom’s are now retired, but that’s to make room for someone special in her life. Starting a life with her husband, 2 fur-babies and a brand new homeowner, has brought her so much happiness.
Marissa has a special place in her heart for animals, specifically pitbulls. Her passion is to help homeless and stray animals in her community. As an advocate for animals in need, she has been volunteering since she was 14 years old. She grew up with various different animals. From fish, sugar gliders to hedgehogs and pygmy goats.
Her dream job, after working for BGCo, of course, is to start a dog rescue with her husband. Once they expand their home, they would love to have a plethora of animals. Bubbas and Leia are rescue dogs, and because of her love for the breed and her passion to help any animal, Marissa and her husband would love to have acres to start an animal rescue. The office is excited we have someone to pet sit while we are on vacation…..for free. She is such a giver!
Jacob grew up in Gilbert and now lives in Mesa. It’s a miracle he and his wife married because he was a Gilbert High Tiger and she was a Mesa High Jackrabbit. They have put their high school rivalry aside for the sake of love. He and his wife have been married for 2 years. He loves to travel with his wife and take new adventures together. He is attending ASU majoring in Construction Management. He cries every time he watches Rudy, served two years in Rancagua Chile for his church, took professional classical guitar lessons in High School, and can ride a unicycle and juggle at the same time. Whoa! Who can beat that?
Since childhood, Jacob has always loved when Monster Truck Jam would come into town. It was a yearly tradition with his Father & older brother to attend the show together. All those years of playing with toy trucks were put to good use. Several years ago, he took a temporary job as an auto body technician. Not just any shop in town, but with the Monster Truck Jam! He has a couple of opportunities to work with the crew, when in town. He admits its physically challenging work. But that doesn’t matter much because the energy in the stadium is electrifying! To repair or restore the fiberglass panels, remove damaged body parts and components is a dream! Working so closely with these massive machines, & and helping them be ready for the next run, makes his inner 10 year old kid exhilarated! He hopes when he retires he will be able to help the touring crew out again.
Ben is a comfy, familiar shoe around these parts. He has worked for BGCo a few times. He and his wife are both natives to Arizona and he was born in Globe. They have raised 6 children, and have 9 grandchildren. He is an ASU graduate with BS in Engineering and Applied Science Cum Laude. With many years of experience in big box retail industry, tract housing and building of semi-custom homes, sales/design and part owner of a truss manufacturer he is a valuable asset to our team.
Ben grew up with farm animals and has been recognized with the ability to understand and connect with animals. With this gift he has had some very interesting jobs. When he was in High School, because being involved in 4H, he was offered a summer job traveling around the state with a small touring zoo & circus. He loved it! Earning more money than he would have if he worked on his family farm, coupled with meeting new people in different places, brought him pure delight. He reveled in all the experiences he had those two summers. He lights up when he shares all his experiences that has helped him develop a talent with conversing & understanding people. His family likes to tell people that he worked as a circus clown instead of with the petting zoo. We sure love Buttons. He is a riot at the office. Be sure to ask him to show you a trick or tell a joke.
